Catherine Culot has won the (shared) best presentation award at this year’s conference of the Belgian Society for Neurosciences! Her presentation was titled Integration of sensory signal, decision-time, and emotional states in the creation of perceptual confidence judgments. In the work presented, Catherine investigated how emotional states interact with the processing of external and internal information to create confidence in decisions. She conducted the three experiments presented during her PhD at the CRCN, under the supervision of Wim Gevers.
