The Association of ERC Grantees, AERG, invites to their second webinar in their “science and society” meetings. On December 13th, you can meet Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, the former president of the European Research Council.

Professor Bourguignon will talk about the value and importance of the scientific method. He will first present the core features, history and value of what we consider today to be established as the basis of scientific advancement. Then he will explore the value of a better understanding of the scientific method in a world currently dominated by accounts of conspiracy theories and fake news.
